hey there! just a quick check in on this beautiful thursday. :) here is a look at today's kotw release:
this double page layout was created by raimi! she used fabric paper from *love elsie* (it looks like a beach towel!) along with one of my favorite cosmo cricket alpha rub-ons. there are (7) spots for your poolside adventure photos and the kit includes a custom journaling tag (you can download here- yay freebie!!!). enjoy!

i know that i said that we have a lot to share, but a little flu bug caused a few setbacks here friday... so, the goodness has been a bit delayed. time to get back on track with some product love! take a look:
here is the rundown of what you see... images 1-3 are of the brand new jillybean soup (tons of great patterns on kraft paper - *eek!*) images 4-6 are just a few of the new ki memories lines we have in store... need birthday, baby, boy, girl, pets, holidays, summer, tropical travel?! they are all here and every line includes great basic patterns (think stripes, polka dots and plaids like only ki can do). plus, we have all of the embellies to boot! image 7 is great news (especially for all of our cricuteers heading in for cricut club this week)! our stickles are back in stock - *sigh* finally, image 8 shows of a few of our newest thickers... mini chipboard alphas in pink and silver glitter!

hi kids! how is summer treating you? it's getting warm out there already today! well... we have a ton of news to share, but i think we'll ease into the goodness with this week's kit release:
this double page layout was created by raimi using an autumn nguyen design that you can check out in the kit club gallery. this week we combined paper from cosmo cricket and october afternoon with some custom designed tags! the layout has room for (6) photos and the design includes pockets to hold your journaling... and we are challenging you to fill an 8.5" x 11" page with your story - eek! don't worry, i won't tell if you double space it! :)
... here's the scoop on this week's freebies - yes that's plural! first, we created another template that you can use in photoshop or photoshop elements. download these files lt page & rt page and follow the steps here... use the templates to create digital layouts or to edit your photos for this layout! here is the end result:

next, we're onto freebie #2!!! click here to download the custom elements from this week's kit. print them on any cardstock color you like!

hey everyone! i hope your transition into summer is going smoothly... now if only the weather would cooperate and give us some great swimming days! i'm sure it will get hot soon. :) you will need those swimming photos for this week's layouts... take a look:
what do you get when you combine lots of circles, scenic route paper, sei sticker letters, kaiser droplets and lovely kraft paper? a super cute layout!!! the layout was created by raimi using a brenda johnston design that you can check out in the gt kit club gallery. from swim lessons to swim parties and swim team this layout is wonderful for all of your swim adventures. :) you can see that the main circle in the layout contains all of raimi's photos...
...so, here is where the freebie comes in! we made a template that you can use in photoshop elements to create the same look. simply download this file and open it in photoshop or photoshop elements. then pull in (7) of your photos... in your layers bin place each photo over the portion of the circle you would like it to be in... then select the photo in your layers bin and press ctrl+g... and *poof* your photo crops right into that portion! then you can resize or move your photo around within that portion - it will change the way you work with photoshop! :) here is the end result:
the circle will fit on a 12"x12" print, so bring your final image into the store and we can print for you!

i just have to share the journaling about brenda's daughter, faith... i think we can all relate: "you are down to about three naps a week. on the days that you don't take a nap, you have rest time in your room. during this time you color, cut and paste or look at books. on this day i opened the bathroom door next to your room to find you looking up at me and smiling. "mommy, my bangs were too long. look! i'm washing my mess down the sink!" you had very carefully and proudly cut your bangs - to the scalp - into the sink so that you wouldn't make a mess. i couldn't be mad at that. instead, i ran and grabbed the camera. no harm done."
is that a rite of passage for 3 year olds?! you are a good sport brenda! :)
we have the"porcelain", "marrakech", "wisteria" and "lime rickey" lines available and out in the store... plus we have all of the new "bling it" pretties!!! you can see that brenda used a few on the cards.

i told you i had one more bit of eye candy goodness for you! take a look:
this project has been a long time in the making and we are so excited to share it with you! :) when you head into the classroom and workshop you will now find most of the frames filled with beautiful prints! if some of those little lovelies look familiar that's because they belong to our staff... we wanted to take advantage of all of the cute kiddos and show off their everyday moments!!! you will see a few more prints go up in the next few weeks... we hope you love them as much as we do!
